Hongmy circuits offer two types of gold finish: Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) as a surface finish for the whole PCB, and hard plated gold over plated nickel for edge-connector fingers. Electroless gold gives excellent solderability, but the chemical deposition process means that it is too soft and too thin to withstand repeated abrasion. Electroplated gold is thicker and harder making it ideal for edge-connector contacts for PCBs which will be repeatedly plugged in and removed.
For gold finishing, we can provide gold thickness 1U" to 30 U",which can fullfill your needs of good quality PCBs.
For Glass Transition (Tg) Value, we have Tg130, Tg 135, Tg 150, Tg170 for your choice.
We can make PCBs for many products, like communication equipment, instrument, OA equipment, Driver, Control system, etc
Any needs of PCBs, pls feel free to contact us.
About Gold Plating
It is quite different with immersion gold for its thickness can vary by controlling the duration of the gold plating cycle, although the typical minimum values for gold fingers are 30u" over 100u" nickel for IPC Class 1 and Class2, 50u" over 100u" nickel for IPC Class3. Hard gold is not generally applied to solderable areas, because of it's high cost and it's relatively poor solderability. The maximum thickness that IPC considers to be solderable is 17.8u", so if this type of gold must be used for soldering, the recommended nominal thickness sould be about 5-10u".
Gold Plating Advantages : Hard and durable surface, without Pb, Long shelf life.
